Too many creepers and not enough croakers!
Who would have thought the world of ten pin bowling could be so complex requiring it's own glossary!

A team of Plescon personnel got a bit closer to that world the other week when they took part in a business trophy competition at the local bowling alley.  Under the pseudonym of 'Spare Parts' the team were regrettably lacking in spares and strikes and could only bowl their way into 6th place.  "I think I peaked in my practice run the night before!" claimed sales executive James Elby.

'Spare Parts' - Plescon's bowling team!

30 May 2008Irene Millar accepting the egg
Eggcitement in Erith!

The Easter Bunny was little late with his delivery this year but it was worth waiting for.

Handmade for Plescon by Hadleigh Maid – chocolates of distinction - the personalised Easter egg was the prize in Plescon’s e-newsletter competition.

By correctly guessing that Plescon has had 5 logos during its 30 years in business, entrants names went into a free prize draw. Lucky winner was Irene Millar of Erith School in Kent. “It looks too good to eat but I’m sure I can be convinced to crack it open and share it with the team!”

Plescon joins ESPO framework

Following a rigorous tender process, Plescon has been accepted in to the ESPO framework for the supply of RFID systems.
The Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) acts as a central purchasing agent for its member authorities and has a combined procurement spend of £400 million per annum.
“This was an important framework to become a part of” explains Nick Hunt, Plescon's company director “we have been rubber stamped; potential customers can approach us safe in the knowledge that we are a bona fide UK RFID supplier”.
