Kwik-Count is an advanced people counting system which counts and records people entering and exiting through a particular doorway. All the data is captured on a memory card contained within the sensor unit and is stored until it is removed and downloaded. The Kwik-Count software allows the memory card to collect figures either every thirty minutes, every hour, every four hours, or provide a daily total.
Once downloaded the figures can easily be exported into another format or programme for more in-depth statistical evaluation, including the building and displaying of graphs.
| Dual Sensor This allows the Kwik-Count unit to differentiate between incoming and outgoing traffic. The infra-red sensors shine a beam across the chosen doorway. | Memory Stick Each memory stick has the capacity to store up to 3,998 hours of data. Each sensor unit comes with its own memory stick that can be individually set up allowing each one to be named e.g. East Entrance. The collected figures can be downloaded every day, week or month depending on users preference. |
Downloading Station Once the memory stick has been removed from the sensor unit the data is retrieved via a downloading station attached to the designated computer which has the Kwik-Count software installed. The Software The Kwik-Count software is the integral part of the counting system. It is used to configure the memory stick, download and display the data, export the figures into another format or programme as well as check the status of any memory stick.
The software is clear and easy to use and allows the user to set up each memory stick with its own identification. The memory stick can also be configured to count continuously or between set times: e.g. 09.00-17.30. Once the card has been set up it can be password protected, preventing unauthorised members of staff altering the settings. There is also the function to enable the data from the memory stick to be directly downloaded to a particular file. Figures that have been downloaded from the memory stick can be easily exported into an Excel file.
